birdwatching trip

HANOVERTON - Ohio State Park Natualist Todd Metz will be conducting a guided birdwatching trip from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday, April 19, at Guilford Lake State Park. The trip will begin at the state park office on East Lake Drive. The participants will car pool around the lake to predetermined spots. Metz will point out any migrating waterfowl or other birds. You may even get to see a Bald Eagle. For certain you will see the Red-Shouldered Hawk nest upclose and personal. Persons interested are asked to pre-register by calling 330-402-6906. Dress for the weather, rain or shine. Bring binoculars and spotting scopes if you have them.
