CHESTER - The Chester Celebration Committee, along with the Hancock County Arts Council, are proud to sponsor Danny-O and the Dancemasters bringing an evening of dancing and music from the big band era. After the overwelming response to the dance held last October, the committee decided to bring another evening of big band music to the tri-state area. The dance will be held in conjunction with the events of the July 4th weekend. Tickets are available at Hancock County Savings Bank, First Choice America Federal Credit Union, and at the Chester Chamber of Commerce office. The cost is $10 each, and they can be purchased at the door. Senior citizens age 60 and over are free! The dance will be held from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 5 at the Chester City Building. Refreshments will be served. Come join us for an evening of great music from the great bands of the greatest generation.
