Not just for nerds
Despite the recent less than sweltering weather and bouts of rain, summer is undeniably here. While I am far too pale to take part in quite a few beloved outdoor summer activities without covering myself head to toe in about 12 layers of sunscreen, there are a number of things I look forward to every year when the temperature begins to climb. I’d like to take the time to serve as something of a goodwill ambassador to one of the most undeservedly looked down on summertime activities, the Renaissance Faire. (That’s right, there’s an “e” on the end of it. Don’t be afraid.) Renaissance Faires have a negative reputation that I can only assume came about because of the especially nerdy reputation of those who typically attend. As anyone who knows a lot of nerds can tell you, the Ren Faire nerds are even looked down on by some of their nerd brethren.

And, with that bit of Gallagher wisdom, I bid The Review a fond farewell.
I’ve been hearing arguments all week about why I should stay, but only a fool would ignore Opportunity when it starts knocking.
