WELLSVILLE - Lucille J. Montgomery 83, formerly of Nevada Street, Wellsville, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at Nentwick Convalescent Center following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Parkersburg, W.Va., on Oct. 3, 1925, and was the daughter of the late Everett Boso and Mabel (Rodgers) Boso Rardin. Living most of her life in the area, Mrs. Montgomery was a homemaker and attended Bible Baptist Church in Wellsville.
She is survived by a son, Herman L. Montgomery Jr. and his wife, Debbie of Calcutta; four daughters, DeAnna Call and her husband, Dale of Wellsville, Juanita Frye and her husband, David of Calcutta, Helen Knox of Richmond, Ohio, and Shirley Bowersock and her husband, Bryan of East Liverpool; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, a son, John F. Montgomery; two daughters, Linda Daniels and Dorothy LeMasters; a brother, Virgil Boso; three sisters, Dorothy Boso, Doris Boso and Evelyn Boso; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter preceded her in death.
Services will he held on Thursday, July 2, 2009, at 1 p.m. at the Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes with Pastor Dirk Hall of the Wellsville Church of the Nazarene, officiating.
Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home in Wellsville on Thursday, July 2, 2009, from 11 a.m. up until the time of the service at 1 p.m.
