Sleeping in space

March 14, 2012
The Review

Kathy Dowd of the Salem Junior Mothers Club models a sleeping bag like the ones used by astronauts in space during a Reading is Fundamental program sponsored by the club for St. Paul School and Buckeye Elementary School second graders Tuesday morning at Buckeye in Salem. A NASA representative spoke to the children about the space shuttle and space travel. Each child also got to select a book, courtesy of a federal grant secured for the RIF program.
