ALIQUIPPA, Pa. - Cora Mae Rhodes 84, of Aliquippa, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2013 in Friendship Ridge. She was born on March 29, 1929 in East Liverpool, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ruth and Calvin Campbell. She was a private with the US Air Force from 1951-1952. She was also a model attending the Barbizon School of Modeling in New York City and also worked for Westinghouse making circuit breakers. She had attended the Community Bible Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Rhodes, a sister Jackie Vass, and a granddaughter Emily Rhodes.
She is survived by her 5 children: Thomas & Mary Rhodes, Erie; Catherine & Richard Sliper, Raccoon Twp.; Mary & Kevin Ralph; Chippewa Twp., Daniel & Debbie Rhodes, Georgetown; and John Rhodes, Aliquippa. 10 grandchildren: Thomas (Nancy), Jason, & Sarah Rhodes, Jennifer (Kevin) Bechdel, Shawn (Dr. Stephen) Wilson, Michael (Alison) Sliper, Eric (Brittney) Hill, Jamie (Dirk) Goodwald, Amy (Michael) Petro, Adam (Lindsay) Rhodes; 15 great-grandchildren: Gianna, Kylie, Tyler, Elijah, Micah, Madeline, Maxwell, Alexandra, Kaylee, Austen, Randy, Kaylee, Sydnee, Karson, and Lucas; 2 sisters: Wanda (Bob) Wilson, New Jersey; Charlotte (Tom) Costo, Hopewell Twp.; a brother Ron (Teresa) Campbell, Center Twp.; and a brother-in-law: Edward Vass, Hopewell Twp.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Aliquippa, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Private interment will take place in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown.
