What a con!

September 1, 2013
The Review

Dear Editor:

I recently heard Pat Robertson tell people that the healthcare law was bad for our country. It became clear to me that this so-called preacher was no preacher.

I've noticed that all of these televangelists are nothing more than con artists. All these preachers do is ask for money, all the time. Seems to me that Jesus never asked for material things, and he managed to change the world.

If Mr. Robertson and the others were truly trying to spread the gospel to the people, and they truly believed in what they were saying, they would do so without any material benefit.

I bet my last dollar that all these so-called preachers live in nice new homes because of all the money people give to their programs. What a con.

Mr. Robertson must have read P.T.Barnum's biography because is seems "There's a sucker born every minute."
