MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Mary Rose Kubis, 61, Industry, Pa., was given a suspended 180-day jail term and ordered to complete 40 hours community service for theft. She was ordered to stay out of Walmarts in Columbiana County. Kubis was accused of failing to scan and pay for 19 items totaling $86 from the Calcutta Walmart on Jan. 1.

An endangering children charge was dismissed against Harli Green, 33, Butler Grange Road, Salem, with Green ordered to pay court costs. Green was accused of leaving her child unattended in an unlocked running vehicle in the Tractor Supply parking lot in Salem on Dec. 19, 2022. Court documents said she completed a parenting course.

A pretrial was set May 14 for Leonard Drennen, 31, Wooster, charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs second offense, driving under suspension and reasonable control.

Brian Hebb, 50, McCalla Street, East Palestine, was fined $3,150 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with credit for 22 days served, leaving 68 days yet to serve, for two counts OVI, single counts of OVI refusal, improper registration, unauthorized plate, seven counts driving under suspension and one count possession of drugs. His driver’s license was suspended for two years.

Michael Gage Miller, 28, Freeman Road, Lisbon, was fined $1,230 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 170 days suspended, leaving a balance of 10 days to serve, for OVI, driving under suspension, reasonable control and no seat belt. His driver’s license was suspended for two years and he was ordered to complete 20 hours community service.

Terry Lee Jones, 54, Washington Street, Leetonia, was fined $820 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 170 days suspended, leaving 10 days still to serve, for OVI second offense, driving under suspension and left of center. He was ordered to complete 60 hours community service and his driver’s license was suspended for seven years.

Charges of OVI and marked lanes were dismissed against Barbara Anderson, 48, West Fourth Street, Salem, who was ordered to pay costs.

Robert Cochran Jr., 35, Woodsdale Road, Salem, was fined $300 for driving under suspension, no helmet and expired registration.

Nicholas Hull, 33, King Ridge Road, East Liverpool, was fined $920 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, for OVI and failure to control. His driver’s license was suspended for one year, with driving privileges granted. He was ordered to complete 40 hours community service.

Randy Marshall, 33, Calcutta Smith Ferry Road, East Liverpool, was fined $300 for no license and unauthorized plate.

A pretrial was set May 6 for Hayden Harris, 20, West North Avenue, East Palestine, charged with speeding.

A pretrial was set April 16 for Judson Edling, 37, West Pershing Street, Salem, charged with driving under suspension.

A pretrial was set June 11 for Timothy Smith, 34, Austintown, charged with driving under suspension.

Devontay Bickley, 22, Worthside Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $200 for driving under suspension and invalid sticker.

Michael Heverly, 39, Depot Road, Salem, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.

Morgan Grant, 19, Anthony Drive, Wellsville, was fined $100 for speeding.

A pretrial was set April 30 for Ashley Bennett, 39, Darlington, Pa., charged with speeding.
