— St. Clair Township Police called at 9:33 p.m. Wednesday to request deputies go to a residence on Steubenville Pike Road, Wayne Township, to make contact with a woman wanted on a warrant. Deputies made contact with Trinity S.P. Lewis, who resides in East Liverpool, and she was turned over to St. Clair Township Police. Lewis, 18, Norton Street, appeared in Columbiana County Municipal Court on Thursday, pleading no contest and being found guilty of assault for pulling another woman to the ground and punching her on Oct. 30 at Walmart in Calcutta. She’s scheduled to face sentencing on Nov. 12.
— A man on state Route 45, Salem Township, called at 8:48 p.m. Wednesday to request a welfare check on his 8-year-old grandson who is at his mother’s residence on Depot Road, Hanover Township. A deputy spoke with child who was fine.
— A woman on Depot Road, Hanover Township, at 7:49 p.m. Wednesday requested her mother-in-law, who resides at state Route 45, Salem Township, be removed from her property. Upon a deputy arriving, the mother-in-law had left the property in her vehicle. The woman was advised how to obtain a protection order.
— A woman from North Las Vegas, Nevada, called at 7:19 p.m. Wednesday to request a welfare check on her brother at Fairmont Road, Elkrun Township. A deputy spoke with him and he was fine and was with his wife.
